I believe life begins at conception for I know in my heart God does not make mistakes. The "right" to kill anyone or terminate a pregnancy at any stage in development goes against God's Divine Decrees for humanity. Period. As a young man just out of high school, I experienced the horrors of abortion when I due to my lack of knowledge agreed to allow a person I was seeing to have an abortion. For years I have been haunted by the fact that my great country did not educate me of the life-long pain I have felt due to my lost fatherhood. We should do more as a country to educate the young men and women of this life-long tragedy of killing a baby due to selfish reasons focusing on the beauty and right to stay pure for their future spouse.

I am Pro Family as defined by Biblical teachings that the "Covenant of Marriage" is a "Sacrament" instilled in humanity by God's Divine Teachings. The Church teaches "God, by His infinite wisdom and love, brings into existence all of reality as a reflection of His goodness. He fashions mankind, male and female, in His own image and likeness. Human beings, therefore, are nothing less than the work of God Himself; and in the complementarity of the sexes, they are called to reflect the inner unity of the Creator. To be obedient to the LORD celebrates this Divine Plan of all mankind in the life-giving union of men and women in the sacrament of marriage."

I believe judgment of one's personal interests and desires should be left to God to decide. I follow and agree with the Church's Teachings that all human beings deserve the right afforded to each by the Constitution of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The Church teaches "it is deplorable that homosexual persons have been and are the object of violent malice in speech or in action. Such treatment deserves condemnation from the Church's pastors wherever it occurs. It reveals a kind of disregard for others which endangers the most fundamental principles of a healthy society. The intrinsic dignity of each person must always be respected in word, in action and in law."

Therefore, I believe people who choose a homosexual lifestyle should be prayed for fervently and be allowed the opportunity to enjoy the freedoms of choice given by the laws of our great country but they cannot be allowed by God's Divine Plan to enter into a "Covenant of Marriage."
